Orchards and apple growers, cider mills, exotic reptile farms, parrot farms, a honey interpretation centre and, of course, Nid’Otruche, all provide a rich area to explore. Nid’Otruche is a tourism activity that offers highly original and educational discoveries!

Introducing three species of ostriches

Back-necked, blue-necked and red-necked ostriches.

Nid’Otruche is a blend of African landscapes and Jurassic Park, just in the Laurentians.

Children can see the similarity between ostriches and their ancestor, the Gallimimus. This bird may look gentle but can defend itself if cornered, killing a lion with just a single kick!
